The Outsourcing Management App

Leave, maternity, absence and resignation for outsourced staff had no home — no system, just scattered emails and spreadsheets. I built the one that didn't exist: a centralized, self-running app with routed approvals and a full audit trail.

There was no app for this

Full-time staff had HR systems. Outsourced staff had nothing built for them. Every leave day, maternity plan, unplanned absence and resignation was handled by hand — an email here, a spreadsheet there, a message someone forgot to log. No single record, no routing, no way to answer "who approved this?" when an audit asked.

One flow, three moving parts

Data goes in through one door, routes to the right approver, and every step is written to a record that can't be quietly changed.

01 Data input

One structured form

Staff submit a single form — leave, maternity, absence or resignation — with the exact fields HR needs. No free-text emails, no missing dates. The data is clean the moment it's captured.

02 Security & routing

The right eyes only

Each submission routes automatically to the right manager. Staff see only their own requests; approvers see their team. Permissions are enforced by the system, not by trust.

03 Records & audit

Answers in one click

Every action — submitted, approved, rejected — is timestamped and attributed. When an audit asks "who approved this, and when?", the answer is right there.

The working prototype

Switch between the two roles to see how permissions change. Submit a request as staff — leave, maternity or resignation — then flip to the manager view to approve it, and watch the audit trail build.

Outsourcing Management · dummy data

From "no system" to one source of truth

One front door

Every leave, maternity, absence and resignation request captured through a single structured form — clean data from the start.

Approvals that route themselves

Requests reach the right approver automatically. No chasing, no bottleneck sitting in someone's inbox.

Audit-ready by default

Every action timestamped and attributed. "Who approved this?" is answered in one click.

You probably already have the Power Platform.

If your team runs on Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint are most likely already sitting in your licence — paid for, and barely used. That's exactly what I built this on. Want to put it to work in HR the way I do?

✓
Already paid for

It ships with Microsoft 365. No new vendor, no new licences, no procurement cycle — just tools most companies already own.

⚡
Built fast, low-code

HR can own the solution instead of waiting in IT's backlog. A working app in weeks, not a year-long project.

↻
Automates the busywork

Approvals, reminders and notifications route themselves — the chasing, copying and manual follow-up simply disappears.

◎
One source of truth

SharePoint replaces scattered spreadsheets, inboxes and paper forms. Every request lives in one structured, searchable place.

🛡
Secure & audit-ready

Role-based permissions and an automatic audit trail — and your data never leaves your own Microsoft tenant.

↗
Scales with you

Start with one workflow like this, then extend it to onboarding, employee cases, recognition — whatever eats your team's time next.

Let's make your Power Platform actually work for HR.

I build practical HR automation on the Power Platform — the kind that quietly runs itself. Tell me the manual process eating your team's time, and I'll show you what it could look like.
